Notes | "One could easily be forgiven for thinking that this startlingly delicious Bourgogne was a declassified wine from some hallowed terroir in the Côte de Beaune (we did). Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a négociant in an historic cellar in Meursault. Each of there bottlings comes from a single grower and parcel. The Bourgogne rouge is pinot noir mainly from clay soils, aged in barrel for 8-10 months. It is classic, expressive red Burgundy at a very fair price." (Winemaker's Notes) | |||
