Notes | "Cru Monplaisir is a label from the Medeville family of Chateau Gillette fame. In 2009, Julie and Xavier Gonet-Medeville purchased Monplaisir, which consists of two parcels: one planted on silt below Chateau d'Issan, the other planted on gravel and clay below Chateau Margaux. 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. It is Monplaisir proximity to the prestigious appellation of Margaux that makes this wine a great value for the money- a rare find in Bordeaux." (Winemaker's Notes) Practicing organic. | |||
