The Best of Oregon's Willamette Valley

Today we have three wonderful wines from Portlandia Winery, showcasing what we feel is the best that Oregon's Willamette Valley has to offer. Whether you enjoy white, rose or red, Portlandia Winery has you covered!

Portlandia Rose 2017

Portlandia Rose"A beautiful dry rosé of Pinot Noir from Shepherd's Valley Vineyard in Willamette Valley. A short period of skin contact leads to a lovely salmon colored wine. Generous aromas and flavors of orange blossoms and strawberry. Clean, balanced and approachable with firm acidity. This wine has excellent texture and finishes long and dry." (Winemaker's Notes)

$16.99/bottle or just $13.59/bottle in a solid or mixed case of wine.

Portlandia Pinot Gris 2015

Portlandia Pinot Gris 2015 A dry Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley. Bright aromas of citrus zest and lemon meringue with crisp, mouth-watering acidity. Incredible minerality and a smooth finish, the citrus and tropical fruit flavors continue to linger on the palate for several minutes.

"Just out, this is quite young and tart, tightly wound with green apple and green pear fruit. It's the sort of wine that may well improve considerably with an extra year in bottle. A light touch of cinnamon comes up in the aftertaste." (Wine Enthusiast)

Wine Enthusiast: 87 points

"Lime zest and green apple on the pungent nose and a dusty mineral quality in the background. Taut, sharply focused citrus fruit flavors show good clarity and a slightly hard edge. Finishes with a spicy quality, a touch of bitter pear skin and decent persistence." (Josh Raynolds, Vinous)

Vinous: 87 points

$16.99/bottle or just $13.59/bottle in a solid or mixed case of wine.

Portlandia Pinot Noir 2015

Portlandia Pinot Noir 2015 Bright youthful garnet color of medium intensity. Sweet ripe cherry and red plum aromas with a hint of minerality and spicy pipe tobacco. Aromas are medium+ intensity. Aromas repeat as flavors, with a spicy lingering finish.

"Though unabashedly earthy, this is packed with red plum, cherry, citrus rind and cut tobacco components. Such complexity is rare in a budget-priced Oregon Pinot. It glides gracefully into a mineral-drenched finish." (Wine Enthusiast)

Wine Enthusiast: 90 points

$19.99/bottle or just $15.99/bottle in a solid or mixed case of wine.
