Notes | This small (12.35 acres) domaine is run by the brothers Jean-Pierre and Michel Auvigue, who are the third generation of their family to produce wine in the Mâcon heartland. Auvigue wines regularly appear in France’s top restaurants, and according to Robert Parker, "are among the top half-dozen wines produced in the Mâcon region." Wonderfully structured, showing great fruit with lovely toasty flavors and a crisp citrus aftertaste, ideally balanced and full bodied. Always great value from a Top Producer, when compared to its more famous neighbors in Pouilly Fuisse. | |||
