---|---|---|---|---|
Varietal | Riesling | |||
Region | Germany: Mosel-Saar-Ruwer | |||
Notes | "The grape selection here is mostly Himmelreich, 15% Bernkastler Badstube and Bernkastler Lay.Natural fermentation in a very old traditional cellar, right on the Mosel. The wine is fermented in old Mosel Fuder barrels, some up to 60 years old. Beautifully ripe and balanced with flavors of juicy Asian pears. It's a cool, slatey wine with just the right amount of ripeness to complement its refreshing acidity." (Winemaker's Notes) | |||
