---|---|---|---|---|
Varietal | Pinot Noir | |||
Region | USA: OR - Willamette Valley | |||
Notes | "The 2016 Pinot Noir Reserve is pale to medium ruby-purple with a black cherries and blackberries nose with accents of wood smoke, dusty earth, cola, clove and underbrush. It's medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and good freshness to lift the black fruits, finishing long with spice and earth notions." (Wine Advocate) | |||
Additional Notes "Musky, spice-tinged cherry pit and dark berries on the fragrant nose. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that unfurl and turn sweeter with air. Finishes on a youthfully tannic note, with a touch of smokiness and very good persistence. (aged for 18 months in 96% French and 4% Hungarian oak)." (Josh Raynolds, Vinous) |
