Region | Italy: Tuscany | |||
Notes | "While our Chianti Classico is unmistakably Tuscan in origin, it offers a level of depth, power, and concentration that is rare for its classification. The fruit—mostly Sangiovese—comes from some of the coolest blocks at our estate, which accounts for the wine’s vibrant acidity. The dominant flavors include plums, earth, cherries, licorice, and cedar." (Winemaker's Notes) "Very pretty Chianti Classico with a medium body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. It's medium-to full-bodied with integrated tannins and a long, linear finish. Cool and well crafted." (James Suckling) | |||
