Notes | This wine should be your "go to" red Burgundy in terms of over delivering for its price. The elegance is striking as this wine will remind you of walking through a field of wildflowers. The 2015 Savigny-les-Beaune Les Bourgeots, coming from vines located on lower reaches to the east of the village, is blessed with wonderful definition on the nose: hints of black truffle informing the crisp black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, chalky tannins that segue into a focused, lithe and taut blackberry and bilberry finish. This will provide much pleasure over 5-6 years. | |||
