| Notes | "Concentrated berries, violets and cassis, with a sweet rustic vibe. This is classic Chianti Classico to its core, a blend of 90% Sangioveto (local Sangiovese clone) and 10% Canaiolo. The first vintage in 1977 had a goldfinch on the label, highlighting the little bird common in the Tuscan countryside. The tradition continues with a new bird each vintage, this year the Cinciallegra (Great Tit) known for its melodious song and nesting in trees near the vineyards."
