Varietal | Albarino | |||
Region | Spain: Rias Baixas
Notes | "Fresh lime, quince, jasmine and a hint of vanilla on the assertively perfumed nose. Dry and sharply focused, offering Meyer lemon and orchard fruit flavors that become deeper as the wine opens with air. Finishes very long, with impressive clarity and mineral cut and lingering notes of chalk and bitter quinine. Forty percent of this wine was fermented in large French oak casks." (Josh Raynolds, Vinous)
Additional Notes "This lively white delivers bright peach and pineapple flavors, with tangy acidity and a touch of spritz. Fruity and fresh. Drink now. 2,300 cases made." (Wine Spectator) |
