| Notes | The Castel del Monte DOC appellation takes the name from the famous castle built in honor of Emperor Federico II. This delicious red wine is a blend of 70% Uva di Troia, 10% Aglianico and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has an intense and complex nose with fruity notes of bitter orange and cherries under alcohol, together with spicy sensations of cinnamon and fresh hints of mint. Ideal with legume soups, pasta with ragu sauce, lasagna, meat and aged cheeses. | |||
