Aia Vecchia 2016 (Italy: Tuscany)

Name Aia Vecchia 2016
Varietal Vermentino (IGT)
Region Italy: Tuscany
Notes "The Aia Vecchia 2016 Vermentino (with 5% Viognier) is a terrific wine and one of the expressions I most enjoyed drinking in this tasting of Italian whites under $25. The wine shows a bright level of crispness and tonic energy, with green notes of lime, honeydew melon and lemon mousse. It's a simple wine, for sure, but the Vermentino grape is really on a roll right now, so I highly suggest this wine if you haven't already tasted this crisp Italian varietal from sun-drenched Coastal Tuscany. You just can't beat this great value." (Wine Advocate)
