Name | Torres Mas La Plana 2010 (ID# 2346) | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Varietal | Cabernet Sauvignon | |||
Region | Spain: Penedes | |||
Notes | "Loads of graphite, peat, pencil lead and ripe blackberries fused to undertones of tobacco, cedar wood and plenty of black pepper make it a textbook example of a warm-climate Cabernet in a perfectly ripe vintage. It has very fine, noble tannins and great acidity. This is one of the most balanced vintages of Mas La Plana I remember, and it should have a great development in bottle. Approachable now, it should age effortlessly for 20+ years." (Wine Advocate) | |||
Additional Notes "This smooth red offers flavors of cherry, cigar box, baking spices and vanilla that mingle over polished tannins, with orange peel acidity imparting liveliness through the spicy finish. Harmonious and generous. Drink now through 2023. 1,000 cases imported." (Wine Spectator) |
