Domaine Drouhin Arthur 2013 (USA: OR - Dundee Hills) (ID# 2202)

Name Domaine Drouhin Arthur 2013 (ID# 2202)
Varietal Chardonnay
Region USA: OR - Dundee Hills
Notes "Another fine study in Chardonnay by the esteemed family from Beaune, this wine's voluptuous ripeness makes it more demonstrative and plump than the Edition Limitee. Its ripe pineapple and pear accents are buoyed by mouthwatering, mouthfilling acidity and a leesy textural grip. Give it some age to gain more contour; then it will be delicious with soft-shell crab." (Wine & Spirits Magazine)

Additional Notes

"The 2013 Chardonnay Estate Arthur, named after VĂ©ronique Drouhin's son, comes from four blocks on the estate and is half stainless-steel and half barrel-fermented Chardonnay and includes around 15% new oak. The nose is very fragrant, wafting gently from the glass with scents of lime flower and citrus fruit. The palate is nicely balanced, not complex, but adorned with attractive bitter lemon and green apple notes that probably would benefit from another 6-12 months in bottle to settle." (Wine Advocate)
