Thomas Labaille L'Authentique 2016 (France: Loire Valley)

Name Thomas Labaille L'Authentique 2016
Varietal Sancerre
Region France: Loire Valley
Notes From rocky limestone soil and 20 year old vines this Sancerre ages in stainless-steel and oak to create a sensational expression of the terroir. The final result is rich, fat, round, with layered aromas, a subtle nose and a long finish. Not a typical bistro Sancerre, but a graceful wine meant for ageing and pleasure. "Racy and refined, with chalk and flint notes framing jicama, lemon pith and gooseberry flavors. The rapier finish is very pure. Drink now through 2020. 1,250 cases imported." (Wine Spectator)
