Dominique Cornin 2013 (France: Burgundy) (ID# 2127)

Name Dominique Cornin 2013 (ID# 2127)
Varietal Pouilly-Fuisse
Region France: Burgundy
Notes "The 2013 Pouilly Fuissé is a blend of several tiny parcels in Chaintre and, unlike the other crus, sees around 5% used barrel maturation. It has an elegant nose, although it is very backward at the moment, with hints of pink grapefruit and apricot blossom. The palate is very well-balanced with crisp acidity, quite backward and tightly coiled with touches of pear and nectarine toward the finish. What a delicious, expressive Pouilly-Fuissé." (Wine Advocate)

Additional Notes

"There's a youthful, gingery tension in this wine, an edge of freshness pointing up the scents of chamomile, meadow flowers and wildflower honey. The acidity adds a layer of bitterness under the fruit, bringing to mind orange pith. For roast fish." (Wine & Spirits Magazine)
