Chateau D'Esclans Whispering Angel 2017 (France: Provence)

Name Chateau D'Esclans Whispering Angel 2017
Varietal Rose
Region France: Provence
Notes "The 2017 Cotes de Provence Rose Whispering Angel is a very good effort from this export-focused winery. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Vermentino, and Tibouren, it offers peach and melon aromas along with a plump, medium-bodied palate and a crisp, grapefruit-y finish. Yes, it's a well-known brand, but don't turn your nose up at it, as it represents solid grape sourcing and winemaking." (Wine Advocate)

Additional Notes

"Has always delivered a fresh and sculpted rose, on the mineral side of fruity, with a kick of mouthwatering salinity on the finish. Feels a little more grown up than most other roses in this price bracket. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle, Syrah and Tibouren that's supremely drinkable." (Decanter magazine)
