Finca Villacreces 2015 (Spain: Ribera del Duero)

Name Finca Villacreces 2015
Varietal Pruno
Region Spain: Ribera del Duero
Notes "The just-bottled 2015 Pruno is a young, fruit-driven and straightforward blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon from young and older vines in their 63-hectare organically-farmed estate, located around the winery by the river Duero. 2015 was a very warm year and the wine is ripe without excess, juicy and tasty, with a minty and chocolate touch perhaps from the one year it spent in oak barrels... as always represents a good value in Ribera del Duero." (Wine Advocate)

Additional Notes

"Rich yet lively, this red delivers ripe flavors of boysenberry and black plum, backed by leafy and orange peel notes and a minerally, smoky finish. Ripe tannins are well-integrated and crisp. Fruity acidity keeps this fresh. Drink now through 2025. 5,000 cases imported." (Wine Spectator)
