Rose for Hot Weather Sipping

Now that summer is in full swing and the weather is hot, hot, hot, it's the perfect time of year to sip chilled rosé wine. Many of you already know rosé is one of our passions. This year our selection is better than ever!

We'll start off with one of our all-time favorites, year in and year out.

Chateau Puech Haut Rosé 2017 (Languedoc-Roussillon, France)

"The 2017 Prestige Rosé is another beautiful rosé from this estate. Spice, underbrush, cherries, citrus blossom and beautiful minerality all emerge from the glass and it's rich, yet also fresh and crisp. It's a food rosé to drink over the coming year. It's a blend of 60/40 Grenache and Cinsault aged in tank." (Jeb Dunnuck)

Capcanes Mas Donis Rosat 2017 (Montsant, Spain)

"If Priorat is the nutmeg, then Montsant is the mace. Almost completely surrounding the DOQ of Priorat, the DO Montsant is one of the youngest DOs in Catalunya but like the neighboring Priorat viticulture here is centuries old Rose-violet-medium in color. A serious wine at an extremely friendly price. The Mas Donis Rosat is a saignée from tanks of Garnatxa and Syrah bled after a few days in the skins." (Winemaker's Notes)

Cantina Santa Maria La Palma Aragosta 2017 (Sardinia, Italy)
