Name | J. De Villebois Menetou-Salon 2017 | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Varietal | Sauvignon Blanc | |||
Region | France: Loire Valley | |||
Notes | "Located on the left bank of the Loire river, below the vineyards of Sancerre, Menetou Salon is the smallest appellation and therefore, less known. However, it produces great wines that are rounder and richer in flavor than its neighbours Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. The Menetou-Salon has an intense nose of exotic fruit flavours, peach and wild flowers with a soft yet refreshing palate. Enjoy the feeling of eating a ripe sauvignon berry while tasting this wine."
