Notes | "Château Recougne is an early-17th-century estate located around 10km north of Libourne, and is among the most well established of Bordeaux Supérieur properties. It is planted with around 78% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc. Fleshy and robust, full of ripe black fruit accented with hints of mocha, smoke and toast. Plenty of fine-grained tannins providing prodigious grip and savoury texture. Drink now or over the next 5 years. Best with beef." (Winemaker's Note) | |||
