Gerard Boulay Sancerre Chavignol Tradition 2024 (France: Loire Valley) (ID# 4635)

Name Gerard Boulay Sancerre Chavignol Tradition 2024 (ID# 4635)
Varietal Sauvignon Blanc
Region France: Loire Valley
Notes "Often compared to the Grand Cru vineyards of Burgundy for its limestone-based soil, Chavignol is a field of chalky-white stone that produces refined and immensely complex whites. The Chavignol Sancerre is racy and very complex. Initially, you'll find bright citrus and herbaceous notes on the nose. A few swirls in the glass, it opens up to melon, pink grapefruit and a light spice of white pepper and minerals. The palate has wonderful acidity, yet is still lush and mouth-coating." (Winemaker's Notes) Importer: Vineyard Road
