Notes | "The 2018 Malagouzia Turtles Vineyard is unoaked, very dry and comes in at 13.1% alcohol. I'm not entirely convinced Greece has gotten this potentially exciting grape to its full potential, but Alpha's is typically one of the best. When done right, including now, it is spicy, aromatic and wonderfully flavorful. Plus, the aromatics are enticing. It isn't one of those grapes like Sauvignon Blanc or Muscat (both of which I love, by the way) whose aromatics are as likely to turn folks off as on." (Wine Advocate) | |||
Additional Notes "Beautiful aromas of apricot, flowers, fresh pineapple and citrus lead into robust flavors of spicy fruit on the palate. It offers good acidity but the fruit has a slightly heavy hand and structure." (Wine Enthusiast) |
