Notes | "It's all natural here, and as you know, ripe and complex wines with moderate alcohol levels are pretty rare on planet wine. The ones from Michel Delhommeau belong surely to the most accessible. They do not come from hard and sour granite soils (like most Muscadets and also Vinho Verde), but from molten lava called gabbro. This crystalline soil gives wines of finesse and elegance, but also charm—a character you can rarely find in Muscadets, which tend to be sharp and salty like the Atlantic Sea on a stormy November day." | |||
