Notes | "The 2014 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Boudots, matured in 50% new oak, has an endearing, quite luscious bouquet that actually reminds me of Patrice & Michèl Rion: dark cherries, blueberry and a touch of violet all very detailed. The palate is well balanced with crisp blackberry and bilberry fruit. The tannins are quite firm and structured in the mouth, the fruit very pure and refined all the way through to the finish. This is a very commendable Boudots." (Neal Martin, Wine Advocate) | |||
