Notes | "An interesting blend of 86% Viognier, 8% Roussanne, 3% Marsanne and 3% Grenache Blanc, the 2014 Marcella's Vineyard has lots of exotic citrus, lime, green herbs and bay leaf notes to go with a medium-bodied, juicy, quaffable and delicious feel on the palate. Seeing malo blocked and aged mostly in barrel, it's a good summer drinker to enjoy over the coming year or two." (Wine Advocate) | |||
Additional Notes "This has some Roussanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc, but it's 86% Viognier and that carries the day into a warm yet vinous apricot tone that's gently floral. The spiciness of alcohol gives this wine's nutty fatness a pleasant amplitude. It's a hefty yet balanced white for veal in a cream sauce. 3,880 cases." (Wine & Spirits Magazine) |
