Advance Notice Before It Goes Public – Open This Email Quickly!
Being a member of our VIP wine club definitely has its advantages! Today we offer you advance notice of a stunning wine from an impossibly good vintage which you won't find anywhere else on Cape Cod (in fact, only a handful of accounts in the entire state are in possession of the goods).
As a result of your membership in our wine club, you now have access to this blockbuster wine before ANYONE else.
Every retailer across the United States is trying to get their hands on this wine. Only there's one big problem. There are only 5,000 cases made available to the entire country. And with praise like this from the most important wine reviewer in the world, everyone is scrambling and begging and pleading to get some:
Cercius
“Wow, is this an exciting wine!”
“This sensational wine tastes more like Châteauneuf du Pape than just about any Cotes du Rhône one is likely to find.”
“This is one of the greatest Cotes du Rhônes I have ever tasted.”
Did you catch the significance of that? Robert Parker has tasted more Cotes du Rhône than probably anyone else in the world. Parker has scaled back his professional tastings so he only personally reviews his two passions – the Rhône Valley and Napa Valley. And this is one of the greatest he has EVER tasted.
Wow, indeed!
One would expect a high score to accompany this praise and we have it.

Now you can see why there is such an intense commotion about this wine.
Are you wondering how our sweet little store in Eastham scored 20 cases of this liquid gold? A very good question indeed.
The answer:

Michel Gassier
Superstar Winemaker Michel Gassier (with your favorite wine merchants)

We're quite friendly with the winemaker, and we're a VIP client of the importer. In other words, we're on the inside track on this one. In fact, we were just in Boston on Monday with the winemaker, Michel Gassier, tasting through his entire portfolio (happy faces above). When we eventually approached the Cercius Cotes du Rhône Villages from the 2010 vintage we stopped dead in our tracks.
One sip and we broke out into giggles. We couldn't stop grinning.
We had been offered an exclusive on this wine a few days before and it was set to arrive in our store on Thursday.
When we told Michel we were being allocated 20 cases from the importer, his eyes popped open and he commented, “You are very lucky!”
Very lucky indeed. Now you can see why we have clients who drive from Hyannis and Falmouth and even further. Our selection is legendary with wine insiders because we have garnered unparallelled access to importers and winemakers who offer us stunning exclusive offers on wines like this one.
Just for the record. This wine is going to blow your socks off.

“Wow, is this an exciting wine!
A custom cuvee put together by importer Eric Solomon along with the brilliant oenologist Philippe Cambie and Costieres de Nimes’ up-and-coming superstar, Michel Gassier, this blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah (and there are 5,000 cases for the US) comes from the 70- to 80-year-old Grenache vines on the plateau of Domazan to the south of Châteauneuf du Pape.
This sensational wine tastes more like Châteauneuf du Pape than just about any Cotes du Rhône one is likely to find.
It is also another example of what looks to be another great vintage emerging from the southern Rhône – 2010.
This is one of the greatest Cotes du Rhônes I have ever tasted – wonderfully intense, deep ruby with some purple tinges, with a stunning nose of black raspberry liqueur intermixed with sweet cherries, licorice, pepper and Provencal lavender. Round, generous, opulent and heady, this fabulously intense, hedonistic wine should be drunk over the next 3-4 years. Bravo!” -- Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

Now, fans of the 2009 vintage are going to notice a price increase for the 2010. We don't like it when wineries raise their prices just because their wine received monster press. Thankfully, this was not the case. When we attempted to negotiate the price, the wholesaler informed us we were given the wrong price on the 2009 because of an error on their part. So, while you 2009 fans received a really amazing deal, the 2010 is coming in at the correct price.

Remarkably, this wine still comes down to less than $15/bottle in a mixed or solid case of wine. Due to the nature of this offering, we encourage you to purchase this wine by the case while you can.

This wine is a legend in the making. Once it's gone, it's gone.
That's just part of the wine business.
A Cotes du Rhône drinking like a Châteauneuf du Pape?!? Yes, please.
$17.99/bottle or $172.70/12 pack case ($14.39/bottle) or just $14.39/bottle in a mixed case of wine.
